The star-studded lead cast of the drama include Park MinYoung, Ko KyungPyo and Kim JaeYoung. “Love In Contract” introduces Park MinYoung as Choi SangEun, a wife for hire. She is a marriage contractor who enters fake marriages with clients looking for a professional to solve their issues without getting into an official life-long relationship. Choi SangEun excels at everything, be it languages, ballerina, climbing, fighting skills or anything that you can name. She is a charming lady in her thirties who knows her worth and how to put people in place. Park MinYoung, as Choi SangEun, has made us fall for her and we add her to the list of K-Drama characters we have a crush on. Frankly speaking, the list is already too long. But we are not complaining! Here are the reasons why Choi SangEun is our latest K-Drama girl crush. The article contains spoilers.

1. Choi SangEun Excels At Everything

SangEun is introduced as jack of all trades. She is skilled in every task and adopts any role perfectly, which makes her successful in her business. In episode 1, the viewers are shown a glimpse of the type of contract she has been on. In one, she went to play golf with her “supposed” husband and his business partners. She impresses them with her skills at golf. She especially got close to one of her clients, GwangNam (Kang HyoungSuk) and continued to live with him. The two plan to go somewhere far away to pursue their dreams after she retires. When GwangNam asks what they will earn after they move, the screen fills up with all the licenses she had-which were a lot. She also has a cupboard full of trophies. Similarly, she is also fluent in many languages. Be it English, Arabic or even French, she can speak well even when drunk! Choi SangEun is perfect in every way, be it her extraordinary features, her fashion sense or even her cooking. If there is something she lacks, it is to organize and clean. But why would she need to when she has GwangNam and JiHo?

2. She Knows How To Protect Herself

SangEun is not your typical damsel in distress, nor does she need a man to protect her. She is perfectly capable of doing it herself. Her client, Choi SangHyuk (Tae HangHo), asked her to be his wife for two hours. He did not tell her that she would have to attend his daughter’s talent show. She realizes how the act hurt the little girl and is angered that she was not informed about it. She had agreed to be a wife, not a mother. He tried to force and even raised his hand at her. But her heel was already inches away from his face, which startled him. Other than physically protecting herself, SangEun does not hesitate to stand up for herself verbally. In her past, when she was forced to marry the son of KangJin Corp, she rebelled and left her house forever.

3. Choi SangEun Is The Kind-Hearted Angel This Ruthless World Needs

In the beginning of the drama, SangEun also clarifies that her job’s purpose was not only money. She deeply empathized with some of her clients and wanted to help them. Her first client introduced, Kim KiDoo (Kim KiDoo), had worked so hard to be successful because he was made fun of as a student. He finally muster the courage to visit the reunion, but this time SangEun accompanied him as his wife. She flaunts about him and made his ‘friends’ speechless. GwangNam is the brother of three sisters. His father always wanted a boy, so he had to bear the burden of many expectations. Later, he discover that he was interested in men, but that was not accepted by his sisters. SangEun enters into a fake marriage with him and even continue to live with him after divorce. The two grow close and even help each other out when needed. We have only one question for Park MinYoung. We have only one heart. How many times will she steal it? She yet again stuns us as Choi SangEun. She perfectly embodies the character and her beauty leaves us speechless! Are you watching the show?
