Below are the reasons we think you should go to a Stray Kids concert, in Korea or around the world.

1. Impressive raps

It’s hard to talk about Stray Kids without naming the rap line, which is one of the most powerful K-groups currently active. The rap line is composed of ChangBin, Han, Felix, and HyunJin, and is distinguished by its wide range of styles. ChangBin has an aggressive rap, a fast rap for Han, a destabilizing one for Felix, and a sensual rap for HyunJin. There is something for every taste! Felix, in particular, attracts all eyes with his deep voice, undoubtedly one of the deepest of all rappers. This is all the more striking as he has a candid face, a bubbly personality, and a big heart.

ChangBin is equally impressive because he doesn’t mince his words. He delivers powerful lyrics that captivate the audience. As for HyunJin, he is as talented at rapping as he is at dancing! He is the main dancer of the group, but also the visual! Finally, Han always surprises more than one, because even being the main rapper with ChangBin, he is also one of the singers reaching the highest notes, as we can hear in ‘Hellevator for example, alongside BangChan, the leader of the group. Witnessing these live performances is therefore impressive. Also, ChangBin and Han are part of the 3RACHA subunit alongside BangChan, which existed even before Stray Kids was formed. 3RACHA even has a SoundCloud where the members posted the songs they produced and composed between 2017 and 2020. Moreover, they have different stage names, as Han calls himself J.ONE, ChangBin SPEARB, and BangChan CB97. They also have a YouTube channel and an Instagram but have not been active since 2020. However, during the concert held this weekend, they unveiled a new song, much to the delight of their fans.

2. Beautiful Vocals

Although Stray Kids is recognized mainly for its powerful raps, singing is also a great quality of the group! Being part of the vocal line, we can name BangChan, Lee Know, SeungMin, and the youngest, I.N. Each of the members offers different styles thanks to the wide variety of voices present in the group. So, there is a pleasant style for everyone!

Also, SeungMin and I.N have their own sub-unit called VocalRacha to keep up with the rap line trend. Again, during this weekend’s concert, they unveiled a bubbly and upbeat new song that will be on the group’s upcoming album, MAXIDENT. VocalRacha has been active since 2018, the beginning of the group. As for Lee Know, since BangChan is in 3RACHA and SeungMin, I.N, in VocalRacha, he must be in a sub-unit too, right? Indeed, he is a member of DanceRacha, a dance unit alongside Felix and HyunJin! This sub-unit is the youngest of the three, since it made its debut in 2020, and it is a performance of the most sensual that it offered us this weekend with the title ‘Taste’. Since the three members know how to dance as well as sing and rap, it’s a sub-unit as solid as the others which do not fail to surprise us!

3. Strong performances

Of course, the interest in going to see an artist in concert, and above all for its performances! In this sense, Stray Kids knows how to deliver a performance worthy of the name since all the members go wild on stage so the ticket was worth it. In early May, the group held a series of concerts in Seoul, and due to a back injury, Felix was unable to dance with the other members. It affected him so much that he cried for a long time during the show, proving that performance is something really important to them.

On stage, the members happily heckle, meet the fans, and joke with each other. It is therefore a really pleasant moment, which allows fans to relax in the presence of their favorite group. Stray Kids even interact with them, asking them questions like this weekend, where BangChan asked the fan to choose a word for Han to improvise a rap based on that word, which was “I love you” in Korean. During the intermission before the encore, fans are even invited to participate in the atmosphere in the stadium, by dancing in front of the cameras or doing aegyo to imitate photos of the members. STAY therefore feel invested during each concert!

Regarding this weekend’s concert, it was therefore for four hours that the group set the room on fire, in particular with the help of a discography rich in titles, including the following songs: ‘MANIAC’, ‘VENOM’ , ‘Red Lights’, ‘Easy’, ‘ALL IN’, ‘District 9’, ‘Back Door’, ‘Charmer’, ‘Lonely St.’, ‘Side Effects’, ‘Thunderous’, ‘DOMINO’, ‘God’s Menu ‘, ‘CHEESE’, ‘YAYAYA’, ‘ROCK’, ‘3RACHA’, ‘Taste’, ‘Can’t Stop’, ‘Time Out’, ‘Circus’, ‘Hellevator’, ‘TOP’, ‘Victory Song’ , ‘Astronaut’, ‘Airplane’, ‘MIROH’, ‘Fam’, ‘Star Lost’ as well as ‘Haven’.

4. Great humor

The members are far from lacking humor, which makes them so beloved by fans. As seen in the video below, each has a “totem” animal, which represents their personality or physical characteristic. Indeed, BangChan is a wolf (responding to the name of Wolf Chan), Lee Know a rabbit (Leebit), ChangBin a hybrid between the pig and the rabbit (Dwaekki), Hyunjin a ferret (Jiniret), Han a quokka (Han Quokka), Felix a chick (BbokAri), SeungMin a puppy (PuppyM) and I.N a desert fox (Fowl.Ny). At popup stores, you can find articles about these animals, forming the name SKZOO.

They also give each other nicknames, which is featured in the song ‘Fam’. Following the lyric order, I.N is considered to be “perfect youngest, best”, SeungMin is “dandy boy, dandy voice”, Felix is “sunshine, YongBok”, Han is “wallaby, all-rounder”, HyunJin is “prince, watch out”, ChangBin is “baby, pabbit”, Lee Know is “mystic boy, after all”, BangChan is “leader, kangaroo”. These nicknames represent the members as well as SKZOO, and when the group sang this song in the stadium, fans were quick to shout out the nicknames and names of the members to pay their respects.

Stray Kids is also very active on its multiple social networks and also YouTube, and regularly posts content without hesitating to stage itself to make STAY smile. The members often publish dance practice videos where they are disguised for example, or have fun together, proving their great complicity. The friendship between the members seems strong, causing them to tease each other regularly. For example, during the concert, HyunJin kept complimenting Han, finding him particularly handsome that weekend. The other members, therefore, took the opportunity to tease him by asking him if he was in love before they all started to proclaim that they wanted to marry all the fans present during the concerts. Moreover, TWICE’s Dahyun was present in the audience, whom they warmly thanked for her presence and her support.

5. A big family

But the real reason you have to go see Stray Kids live is to see the strong bond between the members. The group does not have a simple past, since it comes from a survival show. It is also on this occasion that we were able to discover the song ‘Hellevator’, but even more, the brotherly love they have for each other. During this survival, Lee Know and Felix were originally eliminated, but JYP finally decided to include them in the final lineup, at the request of BangChan. BangChan is particularly close to Felix, being both Australians and being the leader of the group. The episode where Felix is eliminated is heartbreaking since all the members burst into tears at the idea that he will not continue the adventure with them. It was also during numerous shows that the complicity of the members was able to show through on the screen, whether on V Live, Mnet, or the group’s YouTube channel. This brotherly feeling is therefore the most beautiful thing uniting the members of the group, but also Stray Kids and STAY. And as the group’s slogan says: “Stray Kids everywhere all around the world, you make Stray Kids STAY”, underlining the fact that the group and the fans are one. If you’ve ever been to a concert of the group, do you agree with us? What is your favorite song? Let us know in the comments!
